I was asked to create a web page for a family memeber to rent out the vacation house. I was looking to create a site that had a static header and footer while the middle content was scrollable. I also wanted to make sure the background image resized along with the browser as well as all the elements in the page stayed center.

Enlarge the image to the left and you can see that the content scrolls behind the header and footer. Look for the arrows. This created a very pleasing effect.

You can download HTML.zip the project. Is it housed in a Visual Studio 2010 project BUT you can really just take the html, css and images on it's own and make it work.
